Tenacious and Consistent

I am waaaaay overdue for a website update. I have still been making art - and fairly consistently, but not as frequently as I would like.

I have been working on my first oil painting in about twenty years, but it's not quite done, and I can't share it as is. This is my second oil painting. It is also not done, but it will be part of a series. I will share the finished painting when the series is done. The drawing is a quick sketch to figure out some composition things for a future painting.

I get a little frustrated sometimes that I'm not getting more art made, but I have a number of other things in my life that require my time and attention that are also important to me. I can be a little tenacious, and with consistent work, even if less often than I'd like, I will still grow my body of work and develop my skills. And I want to get this series done.
