Practice

Recently, in the drawing group, I've been feeling like my intentions are coming through more in my work. When I started getting back into making art, some drawings would be satisfactory and others would not be. They're 20-30 minute drawings, so they feel like several good starts, but it seems less random whether I am pleased with those starts or not. Between work and parenting and other obligations, I have not have large blocks of time to dedicate to my art. I have stayed fairly consistent, and that consistent seems to be paying off. I have a couple pieces, which are not 20-30 minute drawings, that I am looking forward to sharing when I have finished them. I'll get that done soon. There's an art show coming up! I look forward to seeing where my art is after another year or two of consistent practice, and as I, hopefully, start to work on a concept (or start a few, knowing me)
