This the online home of my drawings and paintings. I have not worked conceptually in the recent past. I have been refamiliarizing myself with materials and methods and trying to stay consistent! I hope to start working on a conceptual body of work in the last half of 2023. I'm open to suggestions for concepts or techniques. I may not take them, or I may apply them in ways you hadn't intended, but I'm open to them.

Not Me

ABOUT ME

I went to school for art, then city planning. That's how I make a living now. I am based in Cedar Rapids, IA. I was born in Des Moines, IA, but I have also lived in Minnesota and Virginia.

​

I have known some odd characters and worked in a variety of jobs before getting my start in planning. Weird stuff comes up in local government, too. Those are the kinds of things I appreciate in life.

My other hobby is competing in the sport of strongman, which you'll see a lot of if you go to my Instagram.
