Coppernicus

Some of my best friends have been people I didn't much care for when I first met them. One would get in trouble in class and then stare at the wall, as if he was staring into the abyss. I joined the group of friends I had in high school through him because he invited me to hang out and I didn't have a reason to say no. And he's awesome. Another made fun of my leather coat and was generally kind of irritating. We ended up hanging out a lot, and I have had very few friends with whom I could have such deep and open conversations. Another, I thought was just smug and shallow, but he was actually that chill and, turns out, one of my favorite human beings. We both love Willie Nelson.

Very vivid reminder to stay open minded. Now, I love when people surprise me. A giant human man who love Yankee Candles? That's what I want to know about.
