Should've Included a Full Nude, That Was an Oversight

Overdue for a post. These works are up at the Cherry Building in Cedar Rapids until the end of October. It is part of the Cedar Rapids Drawing Group show. There are some really great drawings there! I get to draw with some very talented people.

I'm very happy with how these pieces compare to what I submitted in the group show last year. I am very much looking forward to seeing the progress I make in the next year.

I need to try to do my own show. I would like to start working more conceptually again. I would like to oil paint again. And I am. And I'm excited to share what I've been working on for my first oil painting (in almost 20 years - how is that possible?) once I finish it...

Can I get enough done to think about a solo show next year???

I'll try not to forget a full nude next time.
